The house is built in a lot of reduced dimensions of the urban centre of Polistena. The direct relation with the street and the necessity to consider an open and luminous space was incompatible with the necessity of privacy of the function to inhabit. In this sense, we built to the face of the street a court-yard with glass covering, completely closed for the public space, which provided a glazed rip in the front of the living-room, dining room and kitchen. In the interior a set of skylights transmit for the interior light variations constructing spaces capable of transmitting different sensations throughout the day and different year seasons. The small façade acquires a noble and bold dimension with the introduction of a vestibule coated in Carrara marble.
